War on AIDS HIV/AIDS Take action AZ at Reading 03 Toby at Cancun Bollocks to poverty

ActionZone is launching a ‘War on AIDS’ at the summer festivals this year.
This campaign centres on the Global Fund, which was set up by the world’s richest countries to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. Tony Blair and other leaders pledged to finance it - but it’s already run out of money.

Our message to the government is simple:

'Funding the war against AIDS would cost a tiny fraction of the cost of the war with Iraq. Enough fine words, pay our fair share and fund the fight against AIDS'

To get our message out and about, we’re asking festival-goers to fill out an Ace of Spades Tony Blair action card and send it to their MPs.

In return, we’re giving away packs of playing cards modelled on the ones handed out to US soldiers in the Iraq war - except this time they include goodies and baddies in the War on AIDS.
